Time to Look Back at 2011

In preparation for a post on the top stories of 2011, I just read my own posts from January and February and will soon read the rest for the year. While Plaintalker is not a regulation news outlet, readers who have the time may like to do the same and see what has or has not been accomplished this year.

For a longer view, Plainfield Plaintalker and Plaintalker II now have a combined six years' worth of stories about Plainfield and readers can search for terms using the bar at the top left of the page or can just jump in anywhere using the archive at the right side of the blog.

Now that winter is approaching, it was kind of scary to see again the paralyzing snowfalls of early 2011. It was also eye-opening to realize how some issues drag on, such as the inquiry into the Aug. 1, 2010 Town Meeting and the many PMUA questions.

Readers are welcome to comment on the top stories of 2011 or forecasts for 2012. Plaintalker's review will be posted at the end of the month.

  2. City is still trying to fix Rt 28 which in every other town of Jersey the state highway department takes care of. So much for our influence in Trenton goes.
