  1. Bernice, Thank you so much for reaching out to the citizens about the Plainfield Charter. It is my hope that citizens will be involved, and make their voices known to those on the Commission. If citizens who plan to follow along would like to read a description of the Charter Study Process written by Rutgers professors who are authorities on the topic, they should go to www.cgs.rutgers.edu/, which is the website for the Rutgers Center for Government Services, click Resource Center on the left menu. That will take you to materials that describe the whole charter process, written to be read by citizens. They are all free to download or to read on line.
