Forum Will Be Live on Radio

According to a flier posted on the city web site, Sunday's "Call to Action" panel discussion will be broadcast live on WBLS and WLIB. Click here to to see the flier.
If you don't have radios all around the house as I do, you can listen to WBLS on your computer or phone. See more here.
WLIB also has live streaming audio on the computer.
If you want to be there in person, it's 6 p.m. Sunday at Washington Community School.

  1. Whose brilliant idea is this? This radio station has its center in NYC and broadcasts as far north as Newburgh, Ct., south to Trenton, Long Branch, and Brick., west to Parsippany and Levitown on the Island to the east.

All these people will be listening about Plainfield's problem with gangs, guns, unemployment and our poor school system. Great PR for Plainfield! Not only do we receive bad press from the newspapers, now we are bringing the bad news to the tri-county area ourselves.

Not a smart move at all. Who will want to visit us or move here? Although, we will provide a great economic development opportunity for more gangs.

Who thought broadcasting to the tri-state area was a good idea? Who thought of this?
