Proof that yesterday was a crock of sh*t: My first journal entry was 10:21 p.m. (instead of at intervals all day). And it was a notation about possible shots fired in the driveway. And some junior thugs talking outside.
So today a police officer was here looking for shell casings or whatever you call them. Guess it wasn't firecrackers.
I hope it is true that the mad party crew next door is really going or gone.

Plainfield, what a wonderful city with so much to offer that we need a new 600 unit apartment complex for these thugs to gravitate to. Our assemblymen, city council and mayor need to clean up this 6 square mile city before trying to attract luxury renters and retailers. What a joke! Glad you are safe however!
ReplyDeleteIf you oppose JFK’s plan, please be sure to call Bill Nierstedl, Director of the City of Plainfield Zoning/Planning Board at 908-753-3391. Please ask Mr. Nierstedl for the date that JFK will come before the board to apply for a variance to change the density of the property from a low density to a high density. Please be committed to attending this very important zoning board meeting. Please continue to call Mr. Nierstedl until you get an exact date.

Only the people of Plainfield can make this city better. Do not let the small majority of people rule.
ReplyDelete1 - Vote - for those who truly have Plainfield at their heart
2 - Speak up - let everyone know what a great city this is
3 - Unite - I believe there is a faction in Plainfield that want to keep the wards separated so they can maintain power. We all want safe streets, good schools and a downtown. Let's talk to one another and join forces to bring this town back to a thriving community
4 - Pray - it may not help, but it can't hurt
What a great City ? Sure some buildings but there is a criminal group who want to doing nuttin but drugs and dirty business.
ReplyDeleteEvery city has crime. Plainfield has not just lots of beautiful, affordable historic homes, but it also has wonderful neighbors. It's been said that "People move here for the houses and they stay here for the people." I agree.
