Another Fine Mess

Falling bricks? Oh my!
Did they fall from way up there?
Whoops, where's my hard hat?

Hope this gets fixed soon.

  1. Bernice...c'mon...this is Plainfield... there has got to be at least 3-4 yrs of falling bricks and building parts before the city will get involved....Now..if you had tripped over an uneven sidewalk IN FRONT OF A RESIDENCE... Well.. the city would be all over that like white on rice.

  2. Bernice, Put on your walking shoes and look at the Lampkin? House on Terrill Road before you come to Cushing Road. The administration has all the Historic and Planning people wrapped up in circles about that to keep them busy while the rest of the town has a one way ticket to ....

  3. Come on Bernice photos and no location mentioned since you didn't give a location i will this is the same building on second Street that is owned by landmark the great developer who has been working on this building for over five years. I hope someone looks into this before it is just cosmetically covered up and not repaired correctly

  5. This building is in the middle of being renovated on 2nd street isn't it? Just got new windows and a new roof and some interesting doors. If this is that building I am not sure why we should be worried about it "under construction".

  6. If you live in Plfd and read the blogs, you know darn well its Landmarks bldg. It under renovation. Windows were replaced and bricks fall out sometimes when you do. Dont get the panties in a tizzie. Since it is in Plfd, find a realtor and tear it down. It backs to the other property. Bigger lot, more new units...

  7. Bingo that's why they wanted the other building torn down so fast so Frank Cretella could buy that land also. Frank Cretella have 11 properties in the city of plainfield and all he keeps putting up is apartment buildings.

  9. @119, He would be an ideal candidate for the property if it comes to that point. He does great work given the opportunity. Apt buildings are all Plainfield is going to see for the near future. No market for condos yet. Key word, yet. Bring the renters and the buyers will follow.
