Cryptic Tipster's Lips Zipped

Dear off-topic anonymous tipster at 4:25 a.m., what are these "big changes at pmua" to which you allude?

  1. I heard from a reliable source that the PMUA is without a Executive Director and CFO. They got rid of both of them at the same time. No one is running the place. Its hard to believe that they would be that stupid. Who is the Chairman of the Board? What is he doing?

  5. Mr. Williamson's personality provided a decorum and calmness that did not previously prevail. He behaived like the gentlemen that he is, although I hasten to say that he did not appear to provide any inspirational leadership, or address the root problems. His inability it answer the questions that were put to him at the City Council public interview were discouraging. Standing beside Mr Williamson was the Chief Financial Officer who should have been able, at the instant, to answer the questions Mr. Williamson avided by pleading unpreparedness. . I think The CFO knew the answers but was unwilling to provide them. Five years of OPRA'ing, and oral questioning, have failed to obtain an analysis of how the PMUA proportions the Solid Waste Collection costs and Shared Services costs. This calculation is better guarded than the gold in Fort Knox. The Board of Commissioners has the authority to extend their expiring contracts or not to extend them. The burning question is "who" are the replacements?

  6. Well this is the deal..the whole management team at the PMUA needs to change as well. There can be no real change unless you get rid of the incompetent people that supervise them. Inspections dept, you have a supervisor that does nothing but ride around all day; you have team of 2 that start at 5am and by 730am they are done and they do nothing else the rest of the day. Then you have the "special" employees that just seen to skate and get paid a wage to perform work that they don't do and they collect full paychecks. There are too many lower level employees that are sick and tired of the way the PMUA is being run, but if they say anything they will be dealt with in a swift fashion. I say get rid of ALL management and start with a new crop of managers. That is the only way anything is ever going to change. Stop the back door dealing that goes on, the nepotism and start really trying to change things. A lot of money comes into the PMUA, where is it going. Most employees just go along, because they need to feed there families. We are not all felons. The HR dept really needs to look at the way the employees are being treated and do something about it. Goodbye Dan and take your damn A Team with you. Oh the replacement is Eric Watson buddies or something to that effect . He never really left the company if you read between the lines.
