While I am observing grackles, mourning doves and cardinals during the Northeast spring mating season, out where my daughter lives in the great Northwest, they are seeing this.

Once when I was driving in the northeast corner of the state, I saw a bald eagle. Haven't seen any in Plainfield, though. You KNOW I'd shoot it if I saw one! (With my camera, of course!)

I did watch the eagle cam last year as well. Not quite like getting a full frontal shot of your own, but interesting.
