  1. 11 and 12- Big government getting bigger. A Chief of Staff, Deputy City Administrator, and now Deputy Police Director, not to mention Hellwig was both Director of Public Safety and Police Director, and received only one salary. But it's good to see they've found a CFO and maybe some new PMUA commissioners, though Public Safety is still up in the air. Will the benefits outweigh the costs? That is the question.

  2. Why is the new administration spending more of our tax money, adding more jobs to the city payroll?

How about taking what we have, restructuring, redefine roles and put qualified individuals in existing roles instead of adding political payback jobs at the expense of tax payers.

So much change and yet so much of the same - tax and spend.

All these special meetings smell like the results of backroom deals! No doubt!

    1. do both jobs, and he should know.

It's not like this city runs efficiently and could not use a better structure and organization.

The Briggs administration wasted so much money, that it would not surprise me if the money being spent is already money in the budget - it's just not going to food and friends.

  3. How about if the special notice include names of those being brought forth??? What is the big secret?
