Please, No Repeat of Baseball Feud

For those who weren't around when the Queen City Baseball League controversy was at a fever pitch, read this commentary and just cross your fingers that we will not get bogged down in this issue again.

Plainfield's new administrators do not need this headache. The cabinet will be going through yet another transition when Corporation Counsel Dan Williamson leaves. Do we really want the new top legal mind occupied with sorting out who's on first?

  3. You can start counting the days before Mr. Jackson is gone from this madness. When he finds out what an impossible catch 22 he is in. He'll find out that QCBL is being dealt with unfairly but he will also find out there's not a thing he can do. But the baseball issue will not go away until someone higher than the mayor makes the recreation superintendent STOP harassing QCBL. He wants their rosters??!! For what? he won't even give up his numbers for his programs to the Council. Having the rosters is a way of getting access to those children who want to play and recruit them for his own weak program.

  4. Plainfield isn't bad, Anonymous, but our mayor and some on the city council and PMUA are. If we remove them then maybe we can get something done to make Plainfield even better. I love this city and will tell it like it is, even if people like you don't like it. Sharon is the worst mayor we've ever had and she will go and I will stay.

  5. I agree Plainfield isn't bad.. It's got an ignorant electorate that complains about the very people they insist on voting into office.
And if your only opinion about the Little embarrassment is a comment back to me.. I guess we know where your bread is buttered. Keep that chapstick handy when you stand back upright from behind the Mayor or Jerry. And anonymous.. sounds so..Intriguing as opposed the tired rhetoric of a party hack.

  6. How can taxppayers, who supply the money for the rec department and whose money keep the fields mowed be denied access.

If I, who have no kids nor team, want to play on the field I can.

Other than the mayor having what seems to be abnormal control issues, what is the problem.

And to 7:29am, if you think all of this is OK, you should be the one to move because you are part of the problem.
