The Mystery Continues

So today the agenda for tomorrow's special Board of Education meeting is posted, but anyone looking for the big news will be frustrated. Scroll down through 25 pages of personnel matters and you finally come upon one for appointment of the superintendent of schools - but there is no resolution. It will be presented at the meeting.

Be there at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Plainfield High School auditorium if you want the scoop. Or maybe it will be in the newspaper Friday. Or maybe not.

Yawn.

  1. Ms. Paglia it is no mystery the New Superintendent of schools is Anna Belin-Pyles. A big disaster, and a big disappointment to the community.

  3. All we can do is wait until November and VOTE the SLAMMERS out of office. Then Mrs Belin-Plyes will be held to a higher standard which our children deserve.

  4. There is no need to wait until people are voted out of office to hold the Superintendent to any sort of standard. DO IT NOW! If you are a taxpayer, parent of a student or a resident of this city, you have the power to hold the Super to the standard that they do in Westfield or Summit.

You wait until November to vote them out, then the newly elected people are sworn in just after the new year. Guess what? That's almost 40% of the school year gone already. 40% educational time that your children will not get back.

  5. I agree with anon 10:34pm. I have tried to hold the acting Mrs. Belin-Pyles accountable but she listen to no one but the CAMBELLS. I have called her office several times, and have not gotten a response back. She is useless and our children are suffering. CHANGE is on its way I pray.
