Veterans' Center - A Promise Not Kept?

As Veterans' Day event planning for 2013 commences, Plaintalker recalls past promises of a center for veterans along with a senior center on the ground floor of The Monarch condo development.

Click here to read a Plaintalker post from 2007 on plans for the site at 400 East Front Street. The center was built and occupied in 2009, but the veterans' center never opened. Is this a dream deferred?

  2. Let's get real here. Sharon occupies a world of her own. Don't blame all Dems. If that's true, then all Republicans are as vindictive and self-centered as those in the house in DC.

  3. if you believe Sharon is the reason for Plainfield being sooooooooo "Plainfield" .. then your reasoning is correct... if you believe the sun is suddenly going to shine on Oz, as Doc so eloquently puts it, when Adrian Mapp becomes Mayor... then you're in for the shock of your life.. SRB is a hot mess.. but she is not the reason for the status quo in Plainfield
