More on Arbor Day

List of plants
Plan for entrance plantings

The Shade Tree Commission also gave sincere thanks to Public Service Electric & Gas. It was not feasible to plant shade trees at one of PSE&G's projects in Plainfield, so the company kindly contributed the money that would have been spent on trees to the Shade Tree Commission for the Drake House project.

  1. I would like to add that in addition to Liz D'Aversa and Nancy Piwowar, Historical Society Trustees Molly Banta, Paul Panone and Gail Scott-Bey attended the Arbor Day event. HSP was very cooperative with Shade Tree Commission and was very much appreciated. In addition, Liz and Frank D'Aversa shopped for and donated snacks for the children that were delivered to Kings Daughters Day School by John Louise to be enjoyed by the children at the school. Thanks to them as well. Mary Burgwinkle, Shade Tree Commission
