The excitement of the spring that is about to knock on our door is overwhelming...I always tell people, " Two weeks after the forsythia blossoms expect to see the trees busting out with fresh new green leaves !" I am not a Pansie fan ( go figure - lol )due to the fact that they don't do well in the upcoming summer heat, it is nice to see the color. I prefer to patiently wait for the heat hardy flowers yet to arrive. I decided to plant over 100 Sunflowers in the yard of my apartment this year to give the end of summer some pizazz !
ReplyDeleteWould love to see planters all over Plainfield filled with flowers and loving cared for by volunteers from the Senior Center.
Worked in my home town...gives the Seniors something to brag about to their family and friends.
Thank you for the refreshing break from the gray that is the City of Plainfield.
