Traditionally, New Year's wishes include hopes for peace and prosperity, but after 2011's hard times, any increase in either will be welcome. War abroad, gang violence at home and harsh economic conditions all around (except for the 1 percent) will make us grateful in 2012 for improvements. Plaintalker wishes you the strength and courage to make 2012 a happier time.
