Never mind the first day of spring on the weekend - the National Weather Service today put out a "winter weather advisory" to warn of a rain/sleet/snow event that could give us one to two inches of slippery stuff.These miniature daffodils were looking perky when it was 70 degrees a few days ago, but now they are bowing humbly to Mother Nature and her whims. Time to cue the sad Frank Loesser ballad ...
