BERNICEE POOH BIG FIRE ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE CITY
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately Storch is not right. Might be a good idea to fact-check before plugging someone else's blog.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that legitimized Annie's press conference is she acknowledged that currently there were only are only two viable options to manage recreation operations. The first is a commission. The second and in her opinion less appealing option of Dave Wynn staying on until a more permanent solution can be found.
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect I don't agree with Mr. Storch's suggestion that the department could be managed by an already overworked Acting City Administrator. Annie didn't support this position at all at her press conference. What does the city administrator know about running a recreation department filled with children? The other options don't create the permanent
solution to the problem the city really needs. It's easy to attack the Mayor, anyone can do that. What would be impressive is coming up with a solution to the problem. Everyone is doing the best they can.
Tony, this City Administrator doesn't know anything about City Administration? He is the Corporation Council. So what is the difference?
ReplyDeleteNo one is attacking the mayor, just her lack of experience in managing.
What is wrong with a Commission?
