  2. To 8:29am - Of course you are a Christian. Have a blessed day! And you speak for all black people?

Bernice, hope all is well - as you said you received some distressing news.

People who read your column know your heart, and you have always been fair unbiased in your comments. Where you have opinions, you state them.

Again, hope all is well with you.

  4. Anon 8:55, No, I am not a Christian, everybody is not a Christian. I am not speaking for all Black people, although you must be a sell out. The comments were extremely racist and were printed on purpose.

    2. Obviously you are not a Christian - or have any other faith that teaches you to forgive and recognize we are all human and make mistakes. Maybe you should.

  7. Anon, 9:39AM, I am no longer angry about the remarks that Bernice printed by mistake that was extremely racist. I do forgive her but not because I am a self -righteous Christian like you must be. You holier than thou Christians are really something.I am agnostic but probably have more Christian characteristics than you so-called Christians. I almost was a Christian but hung around Christians and changed my mind.Bernice, sorry about being so angry and nonforgiving. Like most Christians do, I do not hold grudges.

    1. Just to let you know, I am not a Christian either, but I weigh my words before I say them. You can't take them back, and when they sting, the swelling goes down, but the memory of the hurt stays.

I do respect you for sending this comment in. And, I like you, hung around Christians and was appalled at their behavior.

  8. To Anon 3:43,Sorry for calling you a self- righteous Christian. I am just so tired of racism,Mappism, greenism, thinking about moving to a different town, whatever side wins this town is in trouble. Mapp cannot identify with people from the westend of town and really does not want to. Their is some inherent evil in him.Green is just plain evil. This city is under some kind of curse. It will never prosper, it will never be the city it use to be, that is just real. Those who follow mapp are brian washed, those who follow Green have no brains. This city really need to wake up because it is going no where.
