As the new City Council president, Cory Storch will have a lot of power over how the meetings are conducted. He is taking this responsibility very seriously, as his blog post Friday attests. Members of the public, especially those who often comment at the council meetings, would do well to take the rules of conduct into account in 2016, because they will be honored by this council president. Let's hope that a new start and new Council President will mean a more responsive City Council and better treatment of the public. Hope is in the air.
