Snow Fooling!

Two Slate-Colored Juncos arrived in my yard this week, normally a sure sign of cold weather as they migrate from northern forests. It must have been confusing for these little "snowbirds" to encounter 70-degree weather. And then on Park Avenue, what should I see?
Another reminder that the seasons are all mixed up right now!

  1. Hi Bernice,

Any news on the shooting that was all over the networks yesterday and this morning? I think its a little early for the Christmas decorations, but the new ones are very nice. I've been complaining about the old, disgusting ones since Sharon was in office. Have a nice weekend.

    1. The Courier News and nj.com both have articles online. Another outlet broke the story, but only with details that sounded like they came off a scanner. The Union County Prosecutor's Office handles homicides and will make an official release when their investigation reveals more facts. I have been retired since 2003 and no longer have a press pass, so for that and other reasons I can't chase breaking crime news.
