Hubbard School is located at 661 West Eighth Street.
The meeting is open to the public. Candidates for the April 19 school board election are incumbents Wilma Campbell and Frederick Moore Sr.; James Plummer; Lynn B. Anderson; Dorien Hurtt; Carmencita Pile; Alice F. Horton-Mays; and Jackie Coley.
Polls will be open from 2 to 9 p.m. on April 19. The school board election was held in conjunction with the November general election from 2012 through 2015, but was changed back to April by the school board just after the November 2015 election.
